Guest Lecturer (2023)

Delivered two guest lectures for the Harvard Business Analytics Program:

  • A Look at Stable Diffusion and Llama as Open-Source LLM Solutions — Exploring open-source AI models and their practical applications.
  • Building Big Data Pipelines to Inform Strategic Decisions at Netflix — Data engineering and decision-making infrastructure at Netflix scale.

Columbia University

Instructor — Columbia Engineering Coding Bootcamp (January 2019 – July 2019)

Taught computer science and web development (React, Node.js, MySQL, MongoDB, Express.js) in the Fu Foundation of Engineering and Applied Science's part-time program. Earned the highest instructor ratings ever recorded for the web development course since its inception. Provided additional lectures on functional programming and machine learning with Node.js and Python.

New Jersey Institute of Technology

Instructor — Art of Code Program (January 2017 – December 2018)

Worked with the mayor's office, governor's office, and Code for America to develop a training program for Newark residents. Developed and open-sourced the curriculum for use by other academic institutions. Lectured on front-end and backend web development and databases.

General Assembly

Instructor — Web Development Immersive

Taught the full-time Web Development Immersive program, helping career changers transition into technology.

Startup Institute

Instructor — Web Development Track

Taught the eight-week Web Development track focused on Ruby on Rails, with project-based learning including rebuilding Open Table and individual capstone projects.
